National Public Radio (NPR) aired a report today that claimed that several people were arrested and charged with "unlawful conduct". The details don't seem very important, but just for completeness' sake: they were members of an audience at some sort of forum on health care reform, and asked embarassing questions as to why "single payer" was not considered as an option. Maybe I'm the victim of bad reporting, but really, this is more than a little Orwellian. Can one be convicted of "unspecified crime"?
