I recently used CheapTickets.com to plan a quick trip down to San Diego. I like being able to have the site group together plan fares, car rental and hotel together and optimize time.

This sort of site works when you know where you want to go and when.

However, initially I had no idea I wanted to go there.

What I wanted was sunshine...having spent the last six months under 100 percent cloud cover here in the northwest.

What I really wanted was to ask the question: in the next month (since I could optionally take time off) what is the lowest cost package I could buy that would put me some place where there's a very high chance there will be sunshine and warm temperatures.

So, I wanted the opposite style search where they ask where? what city? what date? and instead just through out a few search terms and have them come back with a several packages for me to choose from.
